40 Ukrainian investors visiting Ajara to explore region’s investment potential were hosted by the Ajara government in “Radisson Blu Batumi” on August 10. Ukrainian delegation was composed of businessmen from service, trade, construction, tourism and banking sectors. The Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R, gave presentations on investment climate and tourism and agricultural potential of Ajara region and introduced local investment and privatization projects to Ukrainian guests. After presentations, Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara A.R., as well as other honorable hosts of the event, answered Ukrainian guests’ questions related to investment potential and future projects of the region. Members of delegation were invited by the Minister to International Investment Forum “Invest in Batumi - 2014” which will be held on September 4-5, at Sheraton Hotel, Batumi.
